Mealwright

Privacy policy

Last updated: 1 October 2026

Mealwright is run by Virgil Iulian Pais in the United Kingdom. This policy covers the Mealwright Android app and this website, mealwright.co.uk. If you have a question, email hello@mealwright.co.uk.

The app

The Mealwright app does not collect, upload or share your personal data.

Purchases. If you buy the full version, the payment is handled by Google Play under Google's own privacy policy. We don't receive your card details. Google tells us that a purchase was made so the app can unlock.

Sharing. If you use a share button, for example to send a shopping list, the app hands the text to the app you choose, such as WhatsApp or email. What happens next is covered by that app's privacy policy.

This website

The website has no analytics, no advertising and no tracking cookies. Fonts are served from this site itself, so loading a page doesn't send your details to Google.

Hosting. The site is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes basic technical data, such as your IP address, to deliver the pages and protect the site from attacks.

Waitlist. If you join the waitlist, we collect your email address only. We use it to send you one message when Mealwright launches on Google Play.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask to see, correct or delete any personal data we hold about you. For the app there is none. For the waitlist it's your email address. Email hello@mealwright.co.uk and we'll reply within one month.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Children

Mealwright is not aimed at children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, for example because a new feature connects to the internet, we'll update this page and the date at the top before the change goes live.
